ECR Election Results

Results for the 2019 ECR Board election were announced Wednesday, Feb. 27.

David Morandi has been elected to his first term on the Board. Oliver Vogel is returning to the Board after several years' absence.

Allan Hurst and Ed Wilson were re-elected for another term.

Eric Hudson and Lynn Ashmall are midway through their current two-year terms.

Annette Graff and Carol Cook have completed their terms and are stepping down from the Board. We thank them for their dedication to the club.

Assignments will be decided at the next Board meeting.

Also, both amendments to the Charter and Bylaws passed. The club will now offer full membership to dancers at the Mainstream level, and will adopt inclusivity wording from the IAGSDC charter

Take Me to the Mardi Gras!

Mardi Gras comes back to Palo Alto with a fun-filled appearance by caller Bill Eyler from Palm Springs. Great dancing, lots of costumes and beads aplenty!

We'll be holding future no-experience-required Fun Nights on the third or fourth Friday of every month (April 26, May 17, June 21) featuring a variety of callers and dance styles to keep things fresh and interesting.

For more about Fun Nights, see our Fun Nights page.

Real dancing.
Real people.
Real fun.

EL CAMINO REELERS is a modern Western Square Dance club, formed by lesbians and gay men in order to meet people, have fun, and learn to square dance. We dance to live callers using the Callerlab Mainstream, Plus, and Advanced programs.

LEARN TO SQUARE DANCE! It's a great way to meet active, open-minded, intelligent, and sometimes very silly people. We would be glad to welcome you to our club. Send a note to information@reelers.org and let us know you're interested.
