El Camino Reelers: Square Dancing in Silicon Valley for the LGBTQ Community and friends

Thursday Night Plus & A2 Dancing Begins September 21

We're trying an experiment this fall.

Over the past year we have received feedback from our members that we need more time for Plus and Advanced dancing. This is hard to do when we have a beginner class on Tuesdays. So for a limited time this fall, we will be running a separate Plus/A2 night on Thursdays.

Again, this is an experiment to see if we can support a second night of dancing without impacting our beginner class. A survey was sent out asking members if they were interested in a second night and what their preferred night would be. There was no clear winner, but with St. Andrew's unavailable on Wednesday nights, Thursdays seemed to be the best choice.

The new club nights begin this Thursday, September 21 and will continue through November 16 (dark November 9). Thanks to a generous donation, these nights are FREE to all dancers. Caller line-up is posted in the "Club Nights" side bar.

At the end of the series we will evaluate whether to continue the second night. As always, we look forward to your feedback on this experiment!

Real dancing.
Real people.
Real fun.

EL CAMINO REELERS is a modern Western Square Dance club, formed by lesbians and gay men in order to meet people, have fun, and learn to square dance. We dance to live callers using the Callerlab SSD-50, Mainstream, Plus, and Advanced programs.

LEARN TO SQUARE DANCE! It's a great way to meet active, open-minded, intelligent, and sometimes very silly people. We would love to welcome you to our club. Come to one of our no experience required Open House Nights, or send a note to information@reelers.org and let us know you're interested.
